APHKHAZETI is a unique combination of Georgian dance, deeply rooted in the traditions of its people, with modern choreography and music. This is a group with almost 100 years of history, officially founded in 1931, which constantly gives concerts around the world, bringing the audience closer to all the most beautiful things in Georgian culture - traditions, folklore and incredible energy.

In March 2021, with the arrival of a young and talented art director, the legendary Bachan Chanturia, a new stage in the history of the group began. For many years he was one of the main soloists of the Georgian National Sukhishvili Ballet, and his experience and talent were used to create new choreography for traditional dances. He invited famous Georgian composers, together they prepared a unique musical accompaniment, and it is this program - Choreonicon - that will be presented for the first time in Israel!
